DEE Assam Special Educator Salary

Selected candidates will receive an attractive pay scale under Pay Band – 2 (PB-2):

• LP Schools: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹7,400/-

• UP Schools: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹8,700/-

Eligibility Criteria for DEE Assam Special Educator Recruitment 2025

1. Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025):

• General (UR): 18 – 40 years

• Ex-Servicemen: 42 years

• OBC/MOBC: 43 years

• SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 45 years

• PwD: 50 years

2. Small Family Norms:

Applicants having more than two living children on or after 01.01.2021 from one or multiple partners will not be considered eligible, as per the Government’s Small Family Policy.

3. Citizenship:

Candidates must be Indian citizens as per Articles 5 to 8 of the Indian Constitution and should be permanent residents of Assam.

Educational Qualification

For Special Educator (LP Schools):

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with 50% marks AND a 2-year Diploma in Special Education recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

• Must have ATET/CTET qualification for LP level.

For Special Educator (UP Schools):

• Graduate with 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education) recognized by RCI.

• Must have ATET/CTET qualification for UP level.

Medium of Instruction

Candidates must ensure that either Language-I or Language-II in ATET/CTET matches the medium of instruction of the school they are applying to.
